How to Make Your Own Straight Binding Tape

First iron your fabric. Here I am using cotton fabric that I have pre-washed(I will show you how to do it in coming weeks)

Mark line 2 inches away from straight fabric edge. Length depends on how much tape you need. Cut it following the line.

With wrong sides together fold it in half matching the longer sides. Press to form a crease in middle.

Open it up.

Fold one side to the center and press.

Fold other side to the center crease and press.

Match both folded sides, so the raw edges are inside and give a good press again.
